Wood expertise for generations
For over 60 years, Fritz Offermann KG has been synonymous with high-quality wood products, reliable service, and sustainable forestry. As a traditional sawmill and wood importer, we supply our customers with carefully selected wood from responsible sources.
With state-of-the-art technology, in-depth expertise, and a strong network in the wood industry, we combine tradition and innovation—for quality you can rely on.
Wood is dried in a controlled and efficient manner in our 16 company-owned drying chambers – for maximum quality and dimensional stability. The energy required is supplied by our sustainable combined heat and power plant directly on site. Ecological. Powerful.
Our vertical log band saw processes around 3,000 m³ of round timber annually. With high cutting quality and optimal yield, we lay the foundation for high-quality wood in furniture construction, interior design, and industrial applications.
Fritz Offermann KG is now run by the second generation as a medium-sized family business and has developed into one of the leading wood importers and traders. Thanks to our high degree of flexibility, we are able to meet as many quantity and deadline requirements as possible and thus contribute to maximum customer satisfaction.
In keeping with the changing times, we now use a log band saw to cut various round timbers according to our customers' requirements.
We source our roundwood and sawn timber from suppliers worldwide.
Our 16 modern drying chambers enable us to dry the cut wood for our customers under the best possible conditions and under our control.
